"I have been an artist all my life. I feel incomplete without art. My paintings have a concept, combining the visual language of art with ides. The visual language of shape, value, color, texture and so on excites with its unlimited possibilities. Painting is my way of exploring those possibilities to tell my response to an experience, what must be expressed. Mostly, I think my art is expressive, relative to intellectual and instructional. Yet, I know that intuition and mind interplay when I am painting. Good fortune has made it possible for me to know artists' works in museums and galleries across the United States, Europe and Russia. Learning and growing from others' works are exciting and endless. Painting can be a lonely endeavor except for ties with the past and associations with fellow artists."
